Bowne
Quality Improvement - Performed deep dive analysis across thirteen departments including Client Services, Web Technology, Print Production, Inventory, Data Entry, and Shipping. Analyzed data flows, business logic, order processing and production logistics. Developed current state flowcharts and provided assessments for improvement opportunities. Recommendations led to the enhancements of their .Net production tracking system which monitors 4 million requests per year. As a result of our efforts, the web application demonstrated a 95% improvement in tracking print orders.
Avaya
Compliance Reconciliation - Sarbanes-Oxley initiative that reduced several thousands of compliance conflicts. Project consisted of multiple process owners, business re-engineering planning, SAP custom programming, and dissemination of new application security profiles.
Application Development – Remnant managed the automation for multiple “schedule of authorization” workflows by uploading a web-based portal and SAP interlink. The application allows the client to request, track, and document approvals for billing adjustments, manual journal entries, and discount approvals. The project involved developing business requirements, technical designs, conducting user acceptance testing, and production rollout of the new system.
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield-NJ
Outsourcing – Managed an initiative to outsource portions of company’s call center to an external vendor. Collected requirements and coordinated the activities of thirty decision-making stakeholders between the company, internal vendors and the new vendor. Efforts also included training and recruitment of call center staff; installation of network infrastructure; establishing a quality assurance program and performance guarantees; contract administration; and call center management planning.
Relocation Services – Provided project management support for the construction of a $31 million office site. Responsible for managing stakeholder requirements and ensuring smooth relocation of 800 employees—without service interruption. Developed and managed comprehensive project plans. Managed a cross-functional team of operational stakeholders. Acted as stakeholder liaison amongst technical and building contractors to ensure efficient coordination of activities.
